Sonacare provides women of all ages with comprehensive leading edge gynaecological care, including specialised advanced pelvic ultrasound scans for the diagnosis of adenomyosis, endometriosis and infertility.
Our care is unique, as all pelvic ultrasound scans are personally performed by our Specialist Gynaecologist, Dr Shannon Reid. Dr. Reid is an accredited Gynaecological Ultrasound Specialist(DDU), as well as a qualified Gynaecologist (FRANZCOG). She is an advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeon with specialised expertise in the ultrasound diagnosis and surgical excision of endometriosis. Dr. Reid is internationally recognized for her research work in endometriosis.
The following advanced pelvic ultrasound scans are offered at Sonacare for the investigation of infertility, endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids/polyps, ovarian cysts, IUD placement/location and PCOS:

Please note: A signed referral is required from your referring doctor for all pelvic ultrasound scans in order to receive the Medicare rebate. Referral forms can also be downloaded from our website here.
